I'm Daisy, a life-long reader and aspiring author. For as long as I can remember, I've loved diving into new stories (I even skipped recess sometimes to read, much to my teachers' dismay). This blog is a fun place for me to review books and share my thoughts on all things books. I'm also hoping to spotlight a few lesser-known books and series now and then. As of right now, I plan on posting every week, but I may post more frequently if my schedule allows.
So...what is my taste in books anyway?
I read from a wide variety of genres. From classics to fluff, I can enjoy almost anything. Fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery are my most read genres, but you'll rarely see me with a romance book, and certainly never horror. Don't get me wrong, I love a good romance subplot. I just tend to prefer it as a side rather than the main course. As for horror, I'm sure it's lovely genre for people who aren't quite as soft-hearted as I am.
No matter what genre I read, I love a book that has an underlying theme, makes me think, or is a captivating story to get lost in. While I love a good fantasy that has embedded themes about society, I'll still enjoy a book that just sweeps me into a new world. Each review will detail what stood out to me about the books, its shortcomings, and what types of readers might enjoy it.
